We just wanted you to know how pleased Jeanne and I are for the restorations you have done on several of our cherished antiques.  We were just amazed and thrilled at how the folding table turned out. We had no idea just how beautiful the table really was until you did your magic. We had relegated the old piece to a corner of the house that was dark and it was unnoticeable and now we have positioned it into a prominent location where our friends can admire it as they walk into the room. I had now idea how ornate the inlay was and how dramatic the various colors of wood are when in contrasted to the other inlays.

Thanks for restoring this family air loom. We can now really appreciate the beauty of this fine antique.

Dear Clay,

I am so impressed with the repair work you did on my formal dining room chair. When my grandchild knocked the chair over and the back splintered, I thought for sure you would tell me it could not be fixed. It looks great and you cannot even tell it had any damage. Clay Werneke with Wood Masters has done work for me at Strasburger & Price, LLP for approximately 19 years.  His company has maintained the mahogany millwork on 4 floors in our office space.  He  cleaned and touched up damage to the doors, door jams, etc. on a weekly basis.  He also refinished office furniture, doors, conference tables, painted offices, touched up office furniture, and modified furniture to meet someone’s specific requirements.

 

I have also used him for work in my home to finish the custom kitchen cabinetry I had installed.

I had the pleasure of asking Clay Werneke to repair some of my new furniture that was no longer covered by the companies one year warranty, and a place on my staircase that our puppy had chewed.
One of the repairs was a leather chair that had a hole worn on the seat and arm, the work that he did on this chair was so good that you could not see the repair. Without the work he did I would not be able to use my 1 year month old  $1300.00 leather chair.
 
Our  teenagers friends used  our couch as a trampoline and broke the frame, Clay took it apart and braced the area that was broken returning it to better than new condition.
 
On my staircase our dog chewed the base of the wooden hand rail, He repaired it so beautifully, that it looked like he replaced the wood instead of a repair. This I watched him do and it was truly like watching a master craftsman at work, the way he blended the colors to match my wood was incredible.
I highly recommend Clay for any furniture repair, or refinishing.

I just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for the wonderful work you have done for us in the past.  I am amazed how you were able to cover/repair the water damage from that plant on the coffee table and the antique armoire you refinished turned out beautiful.  I also appreciate the history you were able to give me on the armoire.  I had no idea the piece broke-down to lay flat for transportation cross country in a covered wagon!  The chairs you refinished turned out very nicely and the upholsterer did a wonderful job.  I look forward to working with you in the future on other refinishing projects.
